Compsoc run a huge variety of events, many of which are centrally based on the theme of learning. The world of computers can be a very big and frightening one. Just when you think you are starting to pick up some new skill, you find 10 others equally as difficult.

Many people in the society enjoy working in particular realms of computing, be it artistic, technical or just crazy. These are the people that give the workshops, write the documentation or help out in many other ways.

We also know that you can't remember everything from a particular workshop, or perhaps you couldn't attend. So we endeavour to put all the material used online. We also believe that all this material should be available online for free. This learning section of the site is our contribution to this ideal.
